Dinner for tonight..

i've been thinking on what to write to keep this blog going... coz i do know people who care about me do visit my blog.. :P hehe..

anyway..i ate in the LSU cafeteria only for the first three days.. there are several reasons on why i did not continue my meal plan with the cafeteria.. 1) it is way too expensive.. $7 per meal ( RM 23) .. back home in malaysia.. or even in Thailand.. with $7 i can eat good food in a good restaurant.. that's almost like the cost of 4 people (or more) eating in P'Noi!.. 2) it's quite fattening.. coz everything is with cheese... i crave for cheese when i'm at home.. coz u don't usually get cheese on everything.. but here, i crave for rice!!!.. and vegetables!..:P oh.. and the "cafe style" here is.. eat-all-u-can .... u are so tempted to just have a few plates of mac & cheese, ice creams.. their dessert area with fantastic choc cake and many others..

so... ever since then, i've been cooking in my room (shh.. we're not suppose to cook in our rooms actually... but u know.. i've got good traning from MC.. heheh) so my dinner for today is.....

i dunno what to call this..i don't name all my dishes.. just too lazy to think about it.. but basically is a soup with veges in it, and some tofu, and eggs and some crab sticks.. it's not very clear though.. thanks to my phone's camera!..:P

u first boil some water with some chopped big onions.. u don't have to wait till the water boil to put in the onions because u want the onions to be really soft by the time u eat it.. then wait till it boils.. and then u dump in the rest of the things.. put in the tofu and the crabsticks. For seasoning, u can put in some salt or whatever chicken seasoning or ajinomoto.. it's up to u..

wait till it boils and then put in some corn flour to thicken the texture of the soup.. don't put too much because u do not want ur soup to end up like gravy.. after that put in the eggs ( tip : if u want ur eggs to turn out really good in soup, beat the egg in a separate bowl before u dump it into the soup) last but not least.. put in da vegetables!.. and then it's ready to be consume!..

for dessert, ( i dun usually have dessert.. but just today..:P ) i had a really good and cheap chocolate cake from the vending machine in my dorm..

with just $1.50 u get this really good and soft chocolaty Zingers!..
there's 3 in it but obviously i ate two already..:P

STRESSS!!!

First day of school today.. went for my first class as well.. stress stress stress!!!.. my classmates are like principles, teachers, administrators, counselors, phd students!.. aiyoh.. and me?!..23 years old fresh graduate with no experience student... aiyohh!!!!!... work load is heavy.. and half of my time in class is trying to catch what the professor is trying to say... creck creck creck......and that's only for one class.. i have four classes this quarter....

My 5th day in LSU

I woke up very early this morning.. like 5 am loh.. still jet lag?.. i'm not so sure about that.. i slept like 11 something at night what!.. still wake up so early.. sigh*

anyway.. it's sabbath today.. and nope.. i don't think i'm going to church.. the schedule for today is quite interesting though... 10-11: 15 am sabbath school and & breakfast ( breakfast is free.. and u can eat while attending sabbaht school classess.. cool huh?) 11:30 - 1 pm church service 1-2 pm bbq with the president ( as in barbeque!.. yes!... they have free food all the time lah.. i wonder where they get all the $$ from) 2-4 christian arts festival , 7:30-8 pm devotional and 8-11 pm game night.. interesting eh?.. u must be thinking.. why just stay in the room leh?!?!?!.. haih!.. no friend lohh!!! i dun wanna be going to those places alone lahh.. aiyoh.. i went to vespers yesterday night.. ALONE!.. it was okay.. but the idea of going there alone is no good.. so.. i decided to just stay in my room today!.. yes.. the whole day!.. i'm really okay..:P

.... side track a bit.. the orang hitam next door is singing her throat out!.. she on the music so loud and she sing along with it!.. u know.. those org hitam song.. very geng one loh.. so high pitch somemore.. her so called morning exercize.. hahaha!!.. but no doubt can she sing.. superb!..

Being here in LSU is not like what i expected.. i have this wonderful LSU and wonderful USA in my mind before i actually step in here.. maybe i expect too much.. it's quite dissapointing.. but i hope things will be better as time passess... ppl here are different.. i don't know how to describe them.. but they are just different..:) somehow i'm glad that i've raised in an asian country..

i know i've not been updating my blog for quite sometime.. i don't have a camera here with me.. so that's why.. i'm not a writer.. i prefer pictures and less talking.. i guess my last option is to use my phone's lousy camera!.. hehehe.. so untill then.. ta..:)

Land Below The Wind....

Many of u know that i always complain about sabah.. and that i never wanna work here... which is actually true.. till today.. i still stick to my decision on not working in kk.. i have my own reason... but anyway.. no matter how much i complain about sabah.. sabah will still be my home and forever will be. It's small city ( getting bigger now.. sigh..) always smell like home to me.. the sea.. the mountains.. ..... indeed sabah is blessed with it's nature and the term chinese use " yiu shan yiu shiu" ( direct translation - got mountain got water) hehe..

Just last week.. i got a chance to be up in the mountain and down by the sea shore.. God is indeed a creative God... and definately an artist...

Ko Chong Festival....

My mom decided to make "ko chong" yesterday since "ko chong" festival is just around the corner.. i don't know what u call "ko chong" in english.. some say dumpling.. but all these while i tot dumpling is another kind of chinese delicacy.. but anyway.. u will know what i'm talking about when u see the picture!.. by the way.. in hakka dialect, we call it 'ko chong'.. not to get u confuse.. in mandarin they call it 'zhong zi'...

'ko chong' is very nice to eat especially when there's chicken inside!!..with mushroom..!!.. yum.. but for those of you who knows my situation at home.. it's almost impossible for u to find chicken inside the 'ko chong' lah.. but anyway.. at least there's still mushroom.. so yeah.. my mom's very own vegetarian ko chong!!!

but i believe just by looking at the pictures... get a slight idea on how to do it.. so... look at the pictures and go analyze!..:D

another weekkk.......

My church pastor's daughters are soooooo cute!... 3 of them with different characteristics.. totally different!... the eldest one.. Joanna is thoughtful, responsible and not so noisy.. the second one.. Jolina, is playful, noisy and loud, and a lil tomboyish.. the youngest one Joaina.. is the 'baby' of the family.. she's soft, slow, cute and she has a pair of biggg roundy eyes which makes her even cuter!

This is what i've achieved since the day i got home ( may 18) ...

I've finished 3 korean drama ( spring waltz, Love in Harvard, Lovers in Paris) and desperate housewives season 2...I have nothing to do lohhhh!!!!!...

i'm now downloading desperate housewives season 3 and gossip girls (the remaining episodes) ... haih.. and i think i'm loosing weight.. ! haha!.. which is a good thing.. coz i'm always at home.. eating my mom's healthy food!.. hehehe .. i have no where to go.. even if i want to.. i couldn't coz i dun have a car!.. my mom , dad, and sister is at work.. brother is in melaka youth camp and i'm home alone!.. haih.. i wanna go back to mcccc!!!!!!!.. :(
