Hair bow

>> Monday, November 30, 2009

I've been watching some tutorials on how to tie a hair bow online.. just out of curiosity... keke.. was never a hair person.. i really admire people who can actually 'decorate' their hair nicely.. even a simple bow can look so nice if they are the one doing it.. =.='.. anyway.. since i have such long hair noww...before i chop them off!.. better take the opportunity to learn some hair skills.. .. aiyoh.. have to make my long hair into good use mah before i cut them.. hehe..

anyway.. so here's my first hair bow!!.. it's so much messier compare to what it's suppose to be like.. but what the heck.. i have no patience... just this one is good enough for me.. :)

My first hair bow!..

if you take a closer look...

... it's actually very messy!.. hahaha.. :P

John 3:16

John 3:16

A little boy was selling newspapers on the corner,
the people were in and out of the cold.

The little boy was so cold that he wasn't trying to sell
many papers.

He walked ! up to a policeman and said,
"Mister, you wouldn't happen to know where a poor boy

could find a warm place to sleep tonight would you?

You see, I sleep in a box up around the corner there and
down the alley and it's awful cold in there for tonight.

Sure would be nice to have a warm place to stay."

The policeman looked down at the little boy and said, "You
go down the street to that big white house and you knock
on the door. When they come out the door you just say
John 3:16, and they will let you in."

So he did. He walked up the steps and knocked on the
door, and a lady answered. He looked up and said,
"John 3:16." The lady said, "Come on in, Son."

She took him in and she sat him down in a split! bottom
rocker in front of a great big old fireplace, and she went
off. The boy sat there for a while and thought to himself :
John 3:16 . I don't understand it, but it sure makes a
cold boy warm.

Later she came back and asked him "Are you hungry ? "
He said, "Well, just a little.. I haven't eaten in a couple of
days, and I guess I could stand a little bit of food,"

The lady took him in the kitchen and sat him down to a table
full of wonderful food. He ate and ate until he couldn't eat
any more.. Then he thought to himself:
John ! 3:16 .Boy, I sure don't understand it but it sure
makes a hungry boy full.

She took him upstairs to a bathroom to a huge bathtub
filled with warm water, and he sat there and soaked for a
while. As he soaked, he thought to himself: John 3:16
I sure don't understand it, but it sure makes a dirty boy
clean. You know, I've not had a bath, a real bath, in my
whole life. The only bath I ever had was when I stood in
front of that big old fire hydrant as they flushed it out.
The lady came in and got him She took him to a room,
tucked him into a big old feather bed , pulled the covers
up around his neck, kissed him goodnight and turned out
the lights. As he lay in the darkness and looked out the
window at the snow coming down on that cold night,
he thought to himself: John 3:16...I don't understand it but
it sure makes a tired boy rested.

The next morning the lady came back up and took him
down again to that same big table full of food. After he
ate, she took him back to that same big old split bottom
rocker in front of the fireplace and picked up
a big old Bible.

She sat down in front of him and looked into his young face.
"Do you understand John 3:16 ?" she asked gently. He
replied, "No, Ma'am, I don't. The first time I ever heard it
was last night when the policeman told me to use it,"
She opened the Bible to John 3:16 and began to explain
to him about Jesus. Right there, in front of that big old fireplace,
he gave his heart and life to Jesus. He sat there
and thought: John 3:16 -- don't understand it, but it sure
makes a lost boy feel safe.

You know, I have to confess I don't understand it either,
how God was willing to send His Son to die for me, and how
Jesus would agree to do such a thing. I don't understand
the agony of the Father and every angel in heaven as
they watched Jesus suffer and die. I don't understand the intense
love for ME that kept Jesus on the cross till the end.
I don't understand it, but it sure does make life worth living.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you aren't ashamed to do this, please follow the directions .

Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed
of you before my Father." Pass this on only if you mean it.

I do Love God . He is my source of existence.. He keeps
me functioning each and every day. Phil 4:13

Nippon - Tei

Since my uncle and aunt were in Bangkok for a short visit, our very generous 'bagkok-aunty' brought us to this fabulous Japanese place. I LOVE Japanese food. i don't remember when did i learn to eat raw fish, but i just LOVE it sooo much. i remember when i first tried japanese food, i didn't dare to touch anything raw, but now, i just want everything raw!!!.. :)

This FAB Japanese place is located at the basement of a Japanese company. I don't recall the name of the company but if u take the BTS to Rachatewi station (one of the exits), the building is right beside the exit.

This place is quite costly for ppl like me!.. but quality wise, i won't mind spending the money for real food like this!... I heard there's a branch in Paragon but it's fusion. This one here.. is authentic!..:)

Appetizer....

Jap Tofu

My sister love this.. but for me.. it's just okay.. i expect it to be jello-like soft . But the texture was more like super soft cheese...

Kimbap?!?

This is really good.. one of the best i've ever eaten so far.. I have no idea what they put inside... but i know there's something crispy inside that made the whole thing so delicious!!.. two thumbs up for this!!

I don't know if they really have this in Japan, but the idea of "Yam" raw rish just reminds me to Thailand...

ok.. i love love this.. esp the butter fish (white in color).. i didn't try the darker skin color fish on the right side of the butter fish, simply becuase it looks a lil scary to me and the flesh is very fatty. My sis tried it and she said i might not like it.. so therefore, didn't try. I think she finish everything coz apparently, my uncle and aunt are not fans of raw fish.. :D

Nothing much with the main dish, coz it's what u can get in other Japanese restaurant. Taste wise, it's very nice and very Japanesy. :)

Dessert

I had a 150 baht Green Tea ice cream (LOL! one scoop only!!.. WT?!)
It was different from the other green tea ice-cream that i've tried before. i'm not sure if its worth 150 baht..haha.. but all i can say is.. this green tea ice-cream is very pure. The green tea is very strong and u can hardly taste the dairy in it. Compared to what i've tasted before, those were very milky. so there goes the 150 baht for the pureness of it!.. :D

Ttoek

I blogged about this in one of my korea trip entry. Suprisingly, they have it here as well.. :) but yes, it does taste a lil different. Instead of steaming it, this one they sort of grilled it a lil on the outside to give a crispy texture to the Ttoek.

uncle elvin and aunty patchara loving the food!!.. :)

and of course, i love it too.. =)

Ekamai International School Teachers and Staff Retreat was last week. It was a retreat full of fun and rain. In rain the day we arrived, and the next day, and on the last day, the sun appeared from the dark clouds.. =.=' But in a way happy of the weather because i didn't get sun burned!!!.. the sun and i are not very good friends you see.. was there for 3 days and 2 nigths.. wished i could stay longer.. but with someone special.. :) ^^

Took a short dip in the sea, the wave was quite strong and sea water rushing into my nose every time the waves hit. It eventually gets into my eyes and it started hurting real bad.. T.T

I had fun, and i especially enjoyed the social night!.. not only i enjoyed dancing, *wink*.. i also enjoyed watching others showing off their talents!.. hehe.. it was an eye opener for me!..

ahhh.. i just love the sound of the wavess....

Big Mama

For once, i don't give damn bout' getting fat~.. esp when food like this is waiting for u to just put it into your mouth and let it stay in your perut!..

look at the oil.. it's oozing out.. muahaha!!

... okay.. i lied.. i do care about getting fat.. :P i tried my very best to suck all the oil out with a piece of tissue.. the whole tissue was like tissue dipped in oil!!!.. just imagine the amount of oil that was in it... haiyoh!!..

Anyway.. in conjunction to our "payday", me and few of my friends decided to just eat a good one!.. "Big MAMA" at Asok was where we went....

I don't like the menu's picture... i dunno why they use that picture.. =_=.. anyway.. the restaurant is not big, cozy and nicely decorated.. u can find the fanciest food decoration over there.. like this one!..

know what's that?.. it's dried chilly!!!.. unique huh?..

While waiting for our food.. i did some drawing.. :D

Say hello to the irresistible food!!..

Now you see!!..

Now you don't! :P

Sometimes i wonder why is Bangkok so polluted.. and yet u see clear blue sky and just wonder what's really going on down here.. hrmm...

I think it's going to rain.. the sky looks gloomy...

I ponder upon the sky and said... "Isn't God a wonderful creator?"

And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separate the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so . God called the expanse "sky". And there was evening and there was morning... Genesis 1: 6-8
