Many of u know that i always complain about sabah.. and that i never wanna work here... which is actually true.. till today.. i still stick to my decision on not working in kk.. i have my own reason... but anyway.. no matter how much i complain about sabah.. sabah will still be my home and forever will be. It's small city ( getting bigger now.. sigh..) always smell like home to me.. the sea.. the mountains.. ..... indeed sabah is blessed with it's nature and the term chinese use " yiu shan yiu shiu" ( direct translation - got mountain got water) hehe..

Just last week.. i got a chance to be up in the mountain and down by the sea shore.. God is indeed a creative God... and definately an artist...

Ko Chong Festival....

My mom decided to make "ko chong" yesterday since "ko chong" festival is just around the corner.. i don't know what u call "ko chong" in english.. some say dumpling.. but all these while i tot dumpling is another kind of chinese delicacy.. but anyway.. u will know what i'm talking about when u see the picture!.. by the way.. in hakka dialect, we call it 'ko chong'.. not to get u confuse.. in mandarin they call it 'zhong zi'...

'ko chong' is very nice to eat especially when there's chicken inside!!..with mushroom..!!.. yum.. but for those of you who knows my situation at home.. it's almost impossible for u to find chicken inside the 'ko chong' lah.. but anyway.. at least there's still mushroom.. so yeah.. my mom's very own vegetarian ko chong!!!

it is fun to make... and easy as well.. all you need is...

i'm not going to go through the whole process of making a 'ko chong' here.. i'm too lazy to type.. haha.. but if u really want to know!.. i can show u how to make!.. next time!.. not verbally!.. hahaha..i'm better in showing than writing..:P

but i believe just by looking at the pictures... get a slight idea on how to do it.. so... look at the pictures and go analyze!..:D

My church pastor's daughters are soooooo cute!... 3 of them with different characteristics.. totally different!... the eldest one.. Joanna is thoughtful, responsible and not so noisy.. the second one.. Jolina, is playful, noisy and loud, and a lil tomboyish.. the youngest one Joaina.. is the 'baby' of the family.. she's soft, slow, cute and she has a pair of biggg roundy eyes which makes her even cuter!

This is what i've achieved since the day i got home ( may 18) ...

I've finished 3 korean drama ( spring waltz, Love in Harvard, Lovers in Paris) and desperate housewives season 2...I have nothing to do lohhhh!!!!!...

i'm now downloading desperate housewives season 3 and gossip girls (the remaining episodes) ... haih.. and i think i'm loosing weight.. ! haha!.. which is a good thing.. coz i'm always at home.. eating my mom's healthy food!.. hehehe .. i have no where to go.. even if i want to.. i couldn't coz i dun have a car!.. my mom , dad, and sister is at work.. brother is in melaka youth camp and i'm home alone!.. haih.. i wanna go back to mcccc!!!!!!!.. :(

Home for two weeks now...

I do miss MC a lot... and miss Thailand's SUPER CLEAN TOILET!!!!.... compare to kk.. thailand's is really super clean lohhh!!.. sigh* and of course BKK's shopping.. here.. everything is so expensive....

i miss...

1. Daron's ting tong-ness
2. Cooking at daron's place
3. Hanging out in Deanna's office
4. Watching movies / Series with my computer!! (Desperate housewives!! gossip girls!!!)
5. Going out and eat with Duong..
6. Walking Max...
7. shopping and looking for dressiss in fashion malll!!!!!!
8. hanging out with my buddies..
9. MK!! PIZZA COMPANY!! FUJI!! KOREAN BBQ!! STICKY RICE WITH BBQ CHICKEN!! SOM TAM!! TOM YAM!! and those super cheap vegetables and fruits...

Talking about super cheap vegetables and fruits this reminds me of this.. I went to Survey Hypermarket with my mom yesterday.. was shock at the prices of the vegetables in kk!.. u see.. before i never buy vege.. so i never know the prices.. but when i was in Mission College.. i do buy veges... and now as i compare.. veges in thailand is so cheapp!!!... i can get 1 kg of broccoli for 20 baht (RM 2) ...here (survey hypermarket's price) RM5.90 per kilo!!!! see the difference..

kk did change quite a bit... more and more buildings are coming up... and i realize the cost of living here is quite high compare to the previous years.... average meal cost like about RM6 to RM 7 already!... last time u can get mee sup for just RM 3 loh!.. or maybe Rm3.50.. but now cannot!!!.. a very simple mee sup in a lousy kopitiam also cost like Rm 5.00!! and yet i dun see the salary for kk ppl increases loh... i wonder how they can afford...
