Went to Loma Linda to attend auntie Helen Lai's ( org kk also) son's birhtday ( i forgot his name..:P )
had a typical american birthday party.. but we had curry and rendang - vegetarian :( , the food was good, nice environment.. nice ppl.. get to know more sabahans there.. kinna feel like home..
I find this very unique and creative.. it's actually water.. plain water.. but they decorate it with lemons and mint leaves in it.. and of course the white stuff on top is ice.. but it looks really cool!... at first i tot it was some sort of cooling juice or whatever.. but then realize it's just water.. but still.. it's nice..:)
The birthday boy happens to be a young violinist prodigy.. i've never seen anyone plays as good as him.. and he is only 13 years old.. i've seen good players but when i say i've never seen anyone as good as him.. u can tell how good is he.. hehehe..
he rendered us with some classical music while we're having dinner.. and also some of his equally talented friends.. they all planed out a mini concert for all of us.. which is good..:) 
that's the birthday boy in the photo frame.. hahaha!.. and that's uncle Jenus writing a msg for the birthday boy!..:)

Eh but with all the lime and mint leaves, surely the water will be...flavored?
that's what i thought!.. but no.. i guess it make sense.. coz the lime they put the whole biji inside.. as in uncut.. and the mint as well.. together with the batang.. so it does not pollute the water..:)
